SXSW 2011 faves, a few concerts, a few street scenes. You’ll see TV on the Radio, Other Lives, Okkervil River, Wild Flag, Johnny Polygon, Smith Westerns, Thao and the Get Down Stay Down, Rural Alberta Advantage, Colourmusic and that’s about it for shows - here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/circusflea/sets/72157626320806848/ I’ve made the trek down to Austin for several years (6 or 7?). Since I arrived late this time and missed some important events and didn’t have any assignments, I didn’t see as many shows as normal, but had a great time nonetheless. Normally I’ll shoot a ton of street scenes, but honestly it looks like the same stuff year after year, drunken revelry, trash, and attention seeking street performers. I most enjoyed TV on the Radio and Other Lives shows, and hanging out with good people.  More photos from SXSW4JAPAN in the next set.
